Network Training Solutions is the most innovative Registered Training Organisation in Australia with exclusive access to Valid8.
Due to this partnership with Valid8 Technologies, Network Training Solutions would like to offer employers within the Logistics and Retail industries to take up this opportunity.
Traineeships are an opportunity for employers to provide their staff with a nationally recognised formal qualification. Employers can benefit in many ways including specifically tailoring the training to suit their workplace and the working schedules of employees.
Traineeships can lead to a competitive advantage for organisations. Companies that initiate traineeships have the opportunity to become safer, more productive and cost effective as they have competent, trained staff that is capable of helping their business achieve more.
Traineeships are delivered using flexible workplace training practices through nationally recognised assessment guidelines to industry standards.
As part of this initiative, employers may be eligible to claim financial incentives for each enrolled trainee. Traditionally what's been known to employers as a cost centre can now be a profit centre. This will be offered to an employer who engages a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to implement the traineeship, as it ensures employees are assessed and trained by suitably qualified trainers to a nationally recognised standard.
Where an employer is eligible to claim funding for a trainee, they can claim up to $4000 for a person commencing a Certificate III traineeship. Also, if the trainee has a disability, is indigenous or if they are in a job listed as skills shortage in a rural and regional area, there may be further funding available.
Employers with existing employees, applying for Certificate III traineeships may be entitled to claim funding from the Commonwealth Government that could be used to offset some of their costs. However, just because a person is eligible to be on a traineeship does not automatically mean an employer can claim funding for them.
For example if a trainee already has a qualification (achieved less than 7 years ago) which they could use to be employed, the employer would not be entitled to claim any funding for that person
Pre eligibility checks can be undertaken by NTS.
