Notice from AAE to customers

November 25, 2010 Edward

Australian air Express (AaE) is currently negotiating a new Fair Work Agreement with a small group of employees within our 2000-strong nationwide workforce.

These employees are being represented by the Transport Workers Union, who has successfully applied for protective action under Fair Work Australia. The application for protective action has been granted for a 24-hour rolling stoppage that will take effect on Thursday, 18 November 2010.

Contingency measures are in place to minimise any disruptions to our customers and to ensure that our high level of service is continued.
How will this impact you?

AaE can assure you that freight deliveries will continue with minimal disruptions during the action period. The full suite of AaE’s services will be available during the action.

AaE will continue to take ad-hoc bookings during this period. Ad-hoc bookings placed on Thursday, 18 November will be collected on Friday, 19 November. Permanent booking pick ups should not be affected.

Please contact your account manager should you have any further questions.

AaE apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
